Happy 20th Anniversary of 2006!

January 1st, 2026

Happy New Year from G-d's Eepiest Website Updater

Last year marked incredible change in my life, but it also meant that my artistic output has slowed down a lot--not just because I moved to a new city, but because of new obligations to my offline life. I'm not gonna make any new years resolutions that I'll boost my productivity because I respect y'all too much to make empty promises.

However, I wanted to start the new year off right, so I have properly updated to website with some new archivals! First, we have First and Worst, my Evil Queen x Maleficent comics that are a certified hit on Tumblr. Next, you can now read Season 1 of Bill and Bug in its entirety. Both of these will be available to read in the Writing tab.

Next, I have updated the Artwork to include works completed in 2025. As stated, my artistic output has slown down this year due to reasons listed above, but another reason is because I finally made the switch to Linux! As a result, I had to learn an entirely new drawing program which took some getting used to. To be quite honest, half the reason Tarnation exists was to test out the capabilities of the new program in a work that didn't require too much technical finess.

And what about Tarnation? What's going on with Nashville Bones and his funny revenge quest? Well to be quite honest, I've had terrible writer's block when it came to Issue 3--but now it's 2026, the 20th Anniversary of 2006!! Surely this must be celebrated, right? Well I agree!! Tarnation will continue with two cataclysmic revelations! Tune into Tarnation #3... The Strange Secret of Nashville Jones!!

Last but not least, I've been hard at work on a fictional TV Channel. I'm not entirely sure how to show it to you without getting arrested for pirate broadcasting, but this channel will soon feature completely original bumpers by myself and my collaborator, with music by Odio-Hime! These bumpers, when finished, will be uploaded to Internet Archive so you can at least experience those.

I'm looking forward to the cyberpunk dystopian future of 2026. Evil tech companies and robot uprisings won't stop me from making Art, and it shouldn't stop you either!

Trick or Treat!

I'm really bad at updating my website, huh?

Last time I wrote, I was settling into a new enviornment and the adjustment period has been longer than expected. I'm not gonna promise you that I'll be more active, but I will say that I'm in a much more settled place, physically and emotionally. Tarnation is still being worked on, in fact I have just finished Issue #2, which you can find a link to over in the Writing section.

Speaking of issues, I've also been working through issues concerning how I percieve myself. I am happy to report that being an anthro cat is back on the menu! I'm sure you all are extreamly surprised. Take a look at the artwork of that in the Character Bios!

I'm (almost) Back!!

June 29th, 2025

Been a while, huh?

For reasons too numerous and personal to litigate, I have been on accidental hiatus from all public artistic activities. We Poppet Sisters sincerely apologise for the radio silence, but not to worry! Poppet Sisters will be back up and running in July!! We have a number of exciting new projects in the works. The one I can tell you about right now is a new comic series called TARNATION, an absurdist Neo-Western set in the cyberpunk future of 2006! You can read more about that project on the Writing page.

Thank you all for your patience. I'm very excited to be making new things for y'all again. Stay tuned!

Recommendation: LB Lee

May 15th, 2025

Got the chance to meet up with multi-comic artist and archivist LB Lee! The gang were a joy to meet up with and I wanted to take this time to recommend their work!

LB Lee is a plural system making comics about the plural experience, an antidote to the pervasive singlet perspective on those with multiple personalities. Their comics work is deeply personal but necessary, though I understand if the heavy subject matter may hit too close to home for some. Their comics work can be found on their personal websiteHealthy Multiplicity as well as itch.io.

They (specifically their headmate Sneak) are also known for running the site Plural Stories, an exhaustive list of fictional material that features plurality in various capacities. The site has over 200 entries, but you can help by expanding it! Sneak is currently accepting submissions for stories that haven't been catalogued yet.

Teffling Lore Drop

May 9th, 2025

Penny: Hey everyone, been a bit since the website dropped officially. I'm still getting used to the fact that it exists so updates might be infrequent. I'm also dealing with a bit of burnout so things are gonna be slow just in general. For today, I have a little treat for you: Everything's Teffling Guide!

No that was not a typo, I did say Tefflings! Over the course of two years, Eve has been perfecting the lore for her fictional species and eventually compiled it all into a breezy three page visual guide. You can check it out in the Writing tab (I debated whether it should be in Artwork, but the writing tab was currently empty so I wanted to give it some company).

Eve: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THE TEFFLING GUIDE AS NEUROPLASTIC EXERCISE! SEEING TEFFLINGSONAS MAKE ME SMILE WIDER THAN CINEMASCOPE.

Testing 1 2 3...

Testing 1 2 3...

This has been a long time coming. As of this post, there's still a ton of eccentricities I'd love to implement, but for now, it's functioning.

It's ready.

These digital hallways are as much an advertisement for Poppet Sisters as it is a cry for help against a heavily corporatised internet. I've seen my fair share of gentrified portfolio sites and I believe you deserve better than that. My hope is that you will enjoy this website as a digital exhibition space for what we're all about, rather than a sterile resume written by my Worksona.

Feel free to email me at the below contact if you have suggestions on how to make the site better. Until then, wave with the breeze, not against it.

Edit: There are a few bugs that I am aware of, especially when viewing the website on mobile. Am working on it!
